It was a great honor being among those excellent writers at Short Film Klinik with our short film “Shawky” and receiving a Special Juri Mention for the exceptional script, and being very close to become a winner goes to Mohamed Kateb for the script “Shawky”.
“Shawky” is written and directed by Mohamed Kateb and produced by Varphi Studio.
Short Film Klink is a collaboration between Goethe-Institut Gulf, Red Sea Film Festival, and Film Academy Baden-Württemberg.
Short Film Klink is an opportunity to develop a short film script during several intensive workshops under the guidance of amazing mentors and tutors who help participants to reach the creative excellence of their scripts.
Workshops were held in Jeddah during the Red Sea Film Festival, and in Ludwigsburg with participation at the Berlinale, and in the UAE (both in-person and online).
